The seal was issued following a thorough, independent examination by global professional services firm KPMG, and covers the full suite of Ariba's hosted spend management solutions and Ariba Supplier Network(TM). Specific solutions certified include: Ariba Sourcing(TM), Ariba Category Management(TM), Ariba Analysis(TM), On-Demand Basic and Professional versions of Ariba Sourcing(TM), Ariba Contract Management(TM), Ariba Spend Visibility(TM), Ariba Procure-to-Pay(TM), Ariba Travel and Expense(TM) and Ariba Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payment(TM), as well as Ariba Supplier Network. With this certification, Ariba's solutions adhere to the AICPA preferred standard for business continuity and disaster recovery over SAS 70. Ariba received its initial WebTrust certification in 2001 and has been re-certified twice annually since.

To earn a WebTrust seal, e-commerce providers must demonstrate that their systems are protected from unauthorized access and use, are available as intended, process transactions and data as intended and maintain the confidentiality of member data and information.
